Single Techs
Character Tech Requirements Description
Crono
(Lightning)		 Cyclone   Crono spins around an enemy, damaging it and anything else in range.
Slash   Crono shoots a streak of light from his sword, hitting one enemy or all enemies in a line. Lightning elemental damage.
Lightning   Hits an enemy with a lightning bolt.
Spincut   Powerful attack that has the affect of a Critical hit (ignoring any special boosts or bonuses from weapons, etc.)
Lightning 2   Beams of lightning evolve around Crono, damaging all enemies.
Life   Brings ally back to life and refills some of their HP, but not all.
Confuse   Similar to Cyclone. Crono spins around his opponent, striking four times with the same affect as a normal attack.
Luminaire   Crono's most powerful magic attack. A ball of lightning zaps all targets.
Marle
(Water)		 Aura   Recovers some HP
Provoke   Causes Chaos on target opponent.
Ice   Ice block freezes one opponent.
Cure   Same effect as Aura but recovers more HP.
Haste   Doubles the speed of an ally. Wears out after a while.
Ice 2   Huge chunk of ice nails all enemies on the screen.
Cure 2   Recovers all of an ally's HP.
Lucca
(Fire)		 Flame Toss   Same affect as Crono's Slash, but more powerful. Fire elemental damage.
Hypno Wave   Lucca makes all enemies fall asleep with some weird noises.
Fire   Same as Flame Toss, but more powerful.
Napalm   Thrown bomb will strike an enemy and damage all others within blast.
Protect   Reduces physical damage on one ally by 1/3.
Fire 2   Flames engulf all enemies on the screen.
Mega Bomb   An improved Napalm bomb.
Flare   Lucca's most powerful magic attack. Small bombs turn into a gigantic explosion, damaging all enemies.
Frog
(Water)		 Slurp   Ally re-gains some HP.
Slurp Cut   Frog grabs an enemy with his tongue, whips 'em over and dices at them with his sword.
Water   A gigantic bubble floats over one enemy and snaps.
Heal   All party members re-gain some HP.
Leap Slash   Frog jumps into the air and dives onto one enemy, sword first.
Water 2   A wave of water flushes out all enemies.
Cure 2   Recovers all of an ally's HP.
Frog Squash   A giant, tropical frog bounces around on all enemies. The lower Frog's HP, the greater the damage given off.
Robo
(Shadow-like)		 Rocket Punch   Gives one enemy a powerful jab in the jaw.
Cure Beam   Recovers some of an ally's HP.
Laser Spin   Robo spins laser beams all over screen, damaging all enemies.
Robo Tackle   Robo sacks an enemy.
Heal Beam   Recovers more of one ally's HP.
Uzzi Punch   Robo puts his Rocket Punch into fully-automatic.
Area Bomb   Robo blows himself up, damaging all enemies within his range.
Shock   Robo's most powerful Shadow-like technique. It's just like watching the bug-zapper.
Ayla
(none)		 Kiss   Recovers some of an ally's HP
Rollo Kick   Ayla sommersaults to an enemy and kicks him where it counts.
Cat Attack   Attacks an enemy in front, then sneaks behind for another cheap shot. Meow!
Rock Throw   Picks up an enemy and chucks it into the air, causing major damage upon impact. NOTE: this attack only works on enemies who are standing on the ground. It will NOT work on some bosses or enemies who are flying.
Charm   Ayla attempts to steal an item from an enemy.
Tail Spin   Ayla makes herself dizzy with a tornado, which damages all enemies within range.
Dino Tail   Ayla summons a dino, whose tail crushes all enemies in battle. The lower Ayla's HP the greater the damage.
Triple Kick   Ayla kicks an enemy three times, causing maximum damage (no, not 999, but HER maximum damage she can inflict on an opponent).
Magus
(Shadow)		 Lightning 2   Beams of lightning evolve around Magus, damaging all enemies.
Ice 2   Huge chunk of ice nails all enemies on the screen.
Fire 2   Flames engulf all enemies on the screen.
Dark Bomb   Large mass of Shadow magic damage all enemies near Magus.
Magic Wall   Reduces magic damage to a party member by 1/3.
Dark Mist   A blanket of evil mist smothers all enemies.
Black Hole   Sucks nearby enemies into oblivion, causing an Instant Death effect.
Dark Matter   Magus's most powerful Shadow magic attack. Triangle of pure darkness whacks all enemies in battle
Double Techs
Characters Tech Requirements Description
Crono / Marle Aura Whirl Aura & Cyclone Recovers some of all party member's HP.
Ice Sword Ice & Spincut Crono chops at an opponent with his Ice-powered sword.
Ice Sword 2 Ice 2 & Confuse Crono does a Spincut, then starts a Cyclone, then whacks 'em one last time. (I dunno why, but this is my favorite tech in the entire game.)
Crono / Lucca Fire Whirl Cyclone & Flame Toss Crono starts a Cyclone and Lucca chucks some flames into the action.
Fire Sword Fire & Spincut Crono chops at an opponent with his Fire-powered sword.
Fire Sword 2 Fire 2 & Confuse Crono does a Spincut, then starts a Cyclone using his flaming sword. (DEFINATELY not as cool as Ice Sword 2!!)
Crono / Frog X Strike Slash & Slurp Cut Crono and Frog dash at an enemy with swords at hand, creating an X shaped attack.
Sword Stream Water & Spincut Crono bursts a bubble upon an enemy.
Spire Lightning 2 & Leap Slash Frog stabs his sword into an enemy and Crono hits it with a thunderbolt. Ouch.
Crono / Robo Rocket Roll Cyclone & Laser Spin Standing on Robo's shoulders, Crono spreads a beam across the whole battle field.
Max Cylone Spin Cut & Laser Spin Robo grabs Crono by the heels and spins him around and around, damaging all enemies near Robo.
Super Volt Shock & Lightning 2 Both Lightning 2 and Shock are cast upon all enemies.
Crono / Ayla Drill Kick Cyclone & Rollo Kick Ayla spins on Crono's shoulders, then jumps off and kicks an enemy.
Volt Bite Lightning & Cat Attack Crono zaps Ayla, who then bites an enemy with her electrified molars.
Falcon Hit Spincut & Rock Throw Ayla throws Crono at an enemy, sword outstretched.
Marle / Lucca Antipode Fire & Ice Fire and Ice combine to take a large chunk out of one opponent's health.
Antipode 2 Fire 2 & Ice 2 Much like Antipode, but attacks a group of enemies.
Antipose 3 Flare & Ice 2 The ultimate Antipode attack, damaging all enemies on the screen.
Marle / Frog Ice Water Water & Ice Ice water smashes enemies.
Glacier Ice 2 & Water 2 Drop a glacier on a group of enemies.
Double Cure Cure 2 & Cure 2 Refills all ally's HP.
Marle / Robo Aura Beam Aura & Cure Beam Recovers some HP for all teammates.
Ice Tackle Ice & Robo Tackle Marle covers Robo in ice, who then performs a devastating tackle on an enemy.
Cure Touch Cure 2 & Heal Beam Refills HP for all allies.
Marle / Ayla Twin Charm Provoke & Charm Marle and Ayla put on their little show, performing a more-powerful Charm on an enemy.
Ice Toss Rock Throw & Ice Ayla chucks a block of ice at an opponent.
Cube Toss Rock Throw & Ice 2 A more powerful Ice Toss.
Lucca / Robo Fire Punch Rocket Punch & Fire Robo punches an enemy with Fire
Fire Tackle Robo Tackle & Fire 2 Lucca covers Robo with fire, who then performs a devastating tackle on an enemy.
DoublevBomb Area Bomb & Mega Bomb The two pyros set of many bombs, damaging all enemies near Robo.
Lucca / Frog Red Pin Leap Slash & Fire Frog slashes at an enemy with a fiery sword.
Line Bomb Leap Slash & Mega Bomb Frog jumps over opponents, dropping bombs as he flies over.
Frog Flare Frog Squash & Flare A giant frog attacks all enemies with Flare-enhanced capabilities.
Frog / Robo Blade Toss Laser Spin & Slurp Cut Robo tosses Frog at an enemy.
Bubble Snap Water & Robo Tackle Frog encases Robo in a bubble, and then snaps it over an enemy.
Cure Wave Cure 2 & Heal Beam Fully recovers all ally's HP.
Frog / Ayla Slurp Kiss Slurp & Kiss Recovers some of everyone's HP.
Bubble Hit Water & Rollo Kick Ayla drops onto an enemy from a bubble.
Drop Kick Triple Kick & Leap Slash Ayla kicks while Frog slashes. Pretty original, but hey, it's useful.
Robo / Ayla Boogie Charm & Robo Tackle Robo and Ayla get Saturday Night Fever, while causing Stop on all enemies.
Spin Kick Rollo Kick & Robo Tackle Robo throws yet another teammate at an enemy.
Beast Toss Rock Throw & Uzzi Punch Robo and Ayla knock an enemy back and forth.

Triple Techs, w/ Crono
Characters Tech Requirements Description
Crono / Marle / Lucca Delta Force Fire 2, Lightning 2, Ice 2 Casts a triple-elemental attack, causing Shadow-like damage.
Crono / Marle / Frog Arc Impulse Ice 2, Leap Slash, Spincut Crono and Frog do an X-Cut while Marle backs it up with Ice.
Crono / Marle / Robo Lifeline Heal Beam, Life 2, Cyclone (15 MP) Automatic recovery after death, once.
Crono / Marle / Ayla Final Kick Lightning 2, Ice 2, Triple Kick Ayla hits the enemy with a lightning and Ice powered kick.
Crono / Lucca / Frog Delta Storm Fire 2, Water 2, Lightning 2 Same as Delta Force.
Crono / Lucca / Ayla Gatling Kick Fire 2, Triple Kick, Lightning 2 Ayla kicks with lightning and fire power.
Crono / Lucca / Robo Fire Zone Spincut, Fire 2, Lasser Spin Robo spins a flaming Crono 'round and 'round.
Crono / Frog / Robo Triple Raid Slurp Cut, Slash, Robo Tackle Robo gets his place in Crono and Frog's X-Cut.
Crono / Frog / Ayla 3-D Attack Slurp Cut, Slash, Triple Kick Ayla, too, gets a turn in with Crono and Frog's X-Cut.
Crono / Robo / Ayla Twister Tail Spin, Laser Spin, Cyclone Lots of spinning = many tornadoes.
Triple Techs, w/ Rocks
Character Tech Requirements Description
Frog / Marle / Robo Grand Dream Frog Squash, Life 2, Laser Spin, Gold Rock Masa & Mune drops from the sky, nailing all enemies.
Magus / Marle / Lucca Dark Eternal Dark Matter, Ice 2, Fire 2, Black Rock Magus adds his some darkness into Marle and Lucca's Antipode 2, causing the ultimate Shadow attack.
Marle / Lucca / Ayla Poyozo Dance Provoke, Hypno Wave, Tail Spin, Whit Rock The three girls slap all enemies in the face with the dreaded Chaos disease.
Robo / Frog / Ayla Spin Strike Robo Tackle, Leap Slash, Tail Spin, Silver Rock Enemies are slammed with a storm.
Magus / Robo / Lucca
(Blue Rock)		 Omega Flare Dark Bomb, Laser Spin, Flare A Shadow-Fire beam hits all enemies.
